The high quality carbon fibre matting strip in this kit comes is pre-coated in dry epoxy to prevent fraying and the 2:1 ratio of resin and hardener makes it easy to mix correctly. It is ideally suited for carbon fibre repairs such as Car bodywork, fishing poles kayak and canoe race craft. Beyond the examples listed, other damage types may result from more general erosion of the composite as a result of moisture ingress, UV damage, abrasion and heat damage. Wrap the good pole (the one that will go inside the broken one) with some of the shrink-tape, overlapping as you go.
