Be Delicious by DKNY Eau de Parfum For Women, 100ml
About this deal
It’s a good pairing with a gourmand fragrance to hit notes such as caramel apple which in that case is great for fall, other than that it’s highly summertime with its crisp apple notes, with a hint of floral on the dry down. Sweet and fresh, memorable spring and especially summer day time fragrance, although I think you can also pull it off at night but not as a going out scent.
Lighthearted, intensely feminine and unabashedly pretty, DKNY Be Delicious Fresh Blossom is a scent that is as powerfully uplifting as spring itself. This was my signature scent as a teenager and probably my most complimented perfume - I've been complimented during two job interviews on this! You can wear it during the spring and summer, but also for nights out, I think the green apple in this has a very mature feel, unlike a lot of fruit scents. I also consider it UNISEX, my boyfriend wore it a couple times and that got me thinking, that this perfume doesn´t really smell like a girl/woman. Sadly I find the middle part of this journey to be a bit tough; a strident, generic, perfumey assault on my nose, before it softens in the dry down to surround me again with a sweet floral cloud. On cold weather it really gives you freshness, happy summer vibes that you really want and need in winter, but on summer it doesn’t open that well, I think wood notes are prominently opening on summer. Be Delicious is bright, breezy and the apple note is present enough without being overtly dominating. It starts off very cucumbery, but after settling the florals and warm base notes come out that really make this fragrance feel like summer to me (though the cucumber remains noticeable the entire time).
The mini bottles are absolutely adorable and the full size bottle is unfortunately a bit of a weird shape, it feels awkward to spray. Quand on met le nez sur la peau, la note verte devient plus délicieuse et attractive, un peu comme un bonbon sucré-acide, et reste plus aérienne et douce sur les vêtements. It was hugely popular among my friends back in the day and it was probably a bit oversaturated but I still like this scent even though I have personally outgrown it. It's very youthful but not too immature and it's iconic status means you're bound to get complimented. I didn't even spray it, bc I tried this around 2010 on myself, so I know I cannot wear it - no green apple (or peach!Top notes are Cucumber, Grapefruit and Magnolia; middle notes are Green Apple, Lily-of-the-Valley, Tuberose, Violet and Rose; base notes are Woodsy Notes, Sandalwood and Amber.
Bought this for a girlfriend after she had bought me a bottle of DK Men (the amazing Terminator, metal bottle) and remember liking it on her. Opens with a prominent green apple note but there’s also an interesting saltiness about it coming from the cucumber. It feels like I'm in a lilly of the valley garden, eating apples, while mom is cooking some cucumber salad. With its combination of sophisticated apples, exotic flowers, and woody tones, it emphasizes individuality and uniqueness.
For me, it's just a very harsh green apple smell, with an initial sour candy like explosion of scent. Yes, this fragrance is suitable for layering with other DKNY Delicious fragrances, allowing you to create your own unique and personalized scent combination. The heat and humidity just make it shine more, the lily of the valley and violet give you the most fresh clean feel all 24 h.
Something about the scent profile does remind me of the early-2010s, since it was so popular around that time.Yes, DKNY Be Delicious Eau De Parfum offers a long-lasting fragrance experience, so you can enjoy its delightful aroma throughout the day. I agree longevity isn't very good, but the scent is so amazing it is pure joy to reapply during the day. I always admire that fresh cucumber and sweet green apple aroma here, it just feels like a cold shower in a hot day. this is my second purchase of DKNY be delicious, perfect for our Philippine weather especially during our dry season or summer. A synthetic, saccharine apple - not quite the fresh, tart green some of us seek - perhaps made sweet particularly in the dry down by its accompaniment of florals, most likely the bubblegum nature of tuberose, while its cucumber complement maintains an overall freshness that's lovely for the summer heat.
