About this deal

Beginning with anticipation of a fun activity, but rapidly turning into a nightmare among strangers, this game turned thriller is an intriguing read. Christopher Edge: Escape Room Review | When twelve-year-old Ami arrives at The Escape, she thinks it’s just a game – the ultimate escape room with puzzles and challenges to beat before time runs out. Her quick wits, thoughtful gaze, and high intelligence were well-needed throughout her adventures but, just as her personality and strengths were exposed, so too were those of the other children she battled alongside.

Once I figured out the who and the what behind the escape room, I turned off the critical side of my brain, suspended my disbelief, and enjoyed the crazy ride! Voake's fast-paced psychological thriller weaves themes and characters from Hoffman's Struwwelpeter tales into a modern American backwoods setting. The book presents 10 rooms in which the reader needs to pit their wits against the diabolical Wexell Corporation. So buckle up, walk on disgraceful characters bodies with your high heels, enjoy this entertaining show! So, when a text is received announcing a compulsory team building exercise - an escape room if you will, they all show up. And, I had even less interest in reading about a group of self centered, up and coming Wall Street finance executives, who were stuck in an elevator for a corporate team building event. What seemed like a harmless game becomes MUCH more as the participants struggle to make it out alive. He grew up in Manchester, where he spent most of his childhood in the local library dreaming up stories, but now lives in Gloucestershire where he spends most of his time in the local library dreaming up stories.

This is the perfect book for fans of Journal 29 , and those who want to re-create an exciting escape-room experience in their own home! By the 33% finished mark, I had the perpetrator narrowed down to two possibilities and by the 50% mark, had it correctly sussed out. From 'The Many Worlds of Albie Bright' to 'The Longest Night of Charlie Noon' he has written mind-bendingly brilliant stories to. After failing one interview with the firm of Stanhope and Sons she meets another member of the firm, Vincent, in an elevator (get the red herring right here) as she is leaving and he gives her a second chance at interviews. However, it's obvious that we will eventually encounter this one thought after entering a room "what if I get stuck in here? The book was fantastic at first it was hard to read but that is the same as all the books in the world but towards the end it was sooooooo good and especially the last chapter there was a HUGE plot twist that had me blown away!
