Missoni Missoni Wave For Men 3.4 oz EDT Spray
About this deal
Perfumes are often designed with top, middle and base notes, and designed to smell different based on the time after application. The perfumes from this luxury brand are just as original and playful as the typical Missoni designs. This could definitely be worn day or night, maybe has a darker vibe so summer nights might be even more fitting.
While getting pleasant wafts of airy and aquatic Wave, I was also perceiving the contrasting heavier dry down, especially when I put my nose to my wrist. If you don't and like me you could never really fully appreciate AHS despite going through a 100ml bottle years ago, then I'd look elsewhere. First two-three hours good projectivity and sillage, sits closer to skin from then to the 6th hour and it's then an almost undetectable skin scent.
Citrusy marine opening, later creamy citrus and florals come to play and lavender and drydown powdery clean scent. Can still pick up the Versace Pour Homme/Chanel Allure Homme Sport vibe (Although this leans more towards Allure Homme Sport) after 6 hours, and I can actually still pick up some of the citrusy notes. It is blatantly synthetic and yet, like a burger from Mcdonald's when you are severely hungover, it offers such easy pleasure and satisfaction that you have no choice but to stick your face in it. Protect your fragrance from direct sunlight and heat, otherwise the composition of the fragrance could be altered and become a sad memory of your favorite aroma. It has always been a staple in my collection and after I ran out of my Chanel, I been missing a good scent.
If it lasted I would've gladly worn this IE when out to grab a quick beer in the late afternoon or running errands etc. Cons: not the best performer and projector (if u want to grab attention, this is not the best option), not very innovative/interesting (which applies to a lot of blue fragrances, not only this one), not as smooth and well rounded as Chanel Allure Homme Sport (but still very good for a 30 euro fragrance mind you).
But after wearing it for a few days I can say this is a somewhat unique scent awash in a sea of blue laundry detergent frangrances. Its quite okay but thats about it, opens up with harsh citruses and all notes are aggressively competing against each other, settles into sweet lavender powdery scent backed with citrus freshness, has a little salty feel to it hence the "sea notes" but the dry-down is pretty much devoid of it, smooth nontheless.
