In an attempt to please everybody, Harry bakes a special dino-cake, but this turns out to be very unpopular.

This collection of stories tells about how Harry first found his beloved dinosaurs, their adventures together in the scary swamp and discover just how brave they all are when they visit the dentist. But with Pillow Mountain to cross, snails on the line and a shortage of track, will they be able to fulfil their promise? When they try to turn the clock back to enjoy yesterday again, they soon discover they are getting younger and younger! When Harry and his dinosaurs go on their first sleepover, they have so much fun there's no time to miss home.

He carefully washes and mends them, and from then on where Harry goes his dinosaurs go too, in a bucket! When Harry and his dinosaurs go on a sleepover at Jack's house, they have so much fun there's no time to miss home. While Harry plays on the beach, making sandcastles with his new bucket, he comes across a shell that would make the perfect castle decoration. After loving the TV adaptation, I was excited to go back and read the original stories that inspired it.

After cleaning them, he finds out their names, puts them in a bucket and carries them with him everywhere. Upon arrival, Harry and the dinos find that Dino World is overrun by a herd of lost socks, amongst which is the one he's looking for. It's as if dinosaurs somehow belong to children because adults have lost their sense of wonder for these great prehistoric creatures. Harry is reluctant to have a bath so he goes to Dino-World where he endeavours to become as dirty and stinky as he possibly can. Harry isn't having much luck trying to hide from the Dinos when they play hide and seek, as they always manage to find him.

Rather cute story of a little boy who finds some old toy dinosaurs, fixes them up, gives them a home in a bucket, and (as any dinosaur obsessed child would) learns all their names and delights in saying them. But with pesky bugs and scary monsters to contend with, Harry and the Dinos learn that it's not always as easy as it might seem to earn a badge! Although the dinosaurs are toy-sized in the real world, within DinoWorld they become dinosaur-sized, while Harry retains his actual size.He has written over a hundred books for children, including the best-selling Harry and The Bucketful of Dinosaurs series which won the Children's Book Award in 2000, and his stories have been translated into 25 languages. Harry and the dinos miss Pterence and go to find him, they are very impressed by what he has learned. Harry has a cold but gets bored of staying in bed so decides to go and play in Dino world where he manages to make all of the other dinosaurs sick, except Steggy who gets upset when he can't even catch one of Taury's stray spots.

Harry is 'Jungle Harry', King of the Jungle and friend to all the jungle animals (otherwise known as the Dinos). Harry is playing Dino Snap with Nana and realises that one of the Megalosaurus cards has gone missing. As the gang investigate the tide pool, Harry decides that he would love to explore this magnificent world some more, and so he goes into his regular bucket to Dino World to do just that.

It tells the story of Harry, a young boy who, one day, finds some plastic dinosaur toys in his nan’s attic. As a result, Harry and the Dinos launch a campaign where they try every funny trick in the book to try to make the Princess laugh again. I wasn't expecting anything, it was just an ordinary school day, and my Dad brought it back for me when he finished work. The series is about a 5-year-old boy named Harry, who has a bucket full of six dinosaurs (seven in the books) named Taury, Trike, Patsy, Pterence, Sid, and Steggy. Patsy then decides to have a chariot race, and learns that playing with the other dinos is much more fun than being waited on hand and foot.
