About this deal
Countless companies make amazing stereo equipment. JBL stands as one of the best boombox brands on the market. They design professional-grade speakers that will amaze you with their sound and build quality. Having an external power supply for a boombox is weird and defeats the portability idea when you need to charge it. You could not REALLY find a space inside to put in that switching power supply ?? You’ll also never have to worry about buying batteries for the Boombox 2. JBL installed a lithium-ion battery that can last up to 24 hours on a single charge. While this speaker isn't fully waterproof and can't float like some speakers can, it's splash-proof, with an IPX4 rating, and has a microphone input with discrete gain and reverb controls (no microphone is included). In the companion app for iOS and Android, you can customize the sound profile and light show. Battery life is rated at up to 16 hours, but that number will drop if you crank the volume.
This change of mind return policy is in addition to, and does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law including any rights you may have in respect of faulty items. The speaker has Bluetooth or a wired USB connection and there are guitar and mic inputs. It's also worth noting that the speaker is IPX4 splash-proof and you can wirelessly link two PartyBox 110 speakers together for stereo sound. I didn't test the stereo mode, but I was impressed with the sound of a single PartyBox 110 -- this bluetooth device puts out lots of well-defined bass with good overall clarity in the highs and mids -- and I suspect that pairing two of these together would be pretty awesome. The first thing that stands out is its look. At 23.7 inches this is a boombox that’s been super-sized. But GPO took a cue from Victrola and used that extra space wisely. This boombox has a pair of large, 40 watt speakers, and is fully loaded to handle every way you might want to listen to music. Most of its controls are on its front size: EQ, volume, mode switching, radio presets, balance, and even a switch to control its lights. There are two screens: a wide radio dial, and output level that shows your music’s volume. The aux input, mic inputs, and aux out are on its right side. Sony’s Walkman defined the boombox era, and it’s kept up that tradition with contemporary-looking option. It can play cassettes, CDs, and digital music via a 3.5mm audio cable. At 13.41 inches it’s the smallest boombox on this list, so if portability is your priority, it’s a great option.Hang onto your cassettes, because you’re about to get a literal blast from the past with this awesomely retro-styled Brooklyn portable boombox! The first thing you’ll notice about this boombox is the styling. From the oversized FM tuner bar to the huge handle and massive speakers, this boombox is the coolest-looking product on this list. If you want to wax nostalgic about the first wave of the cassette, we highly recommend Rob Sheffield’s Love Is A Mixtape). What You Need to Know Before Buying a Retro Boombox
One that's really caught our eye is from Boomboxery.com, a forum for people who love Boomboxes. We'll be honest, we were a little nervous when they asked to review the Brooklyn. We've put a lot of love and care into this unit and this crowd knows their stuff. They're collectors and experts on 80s ghetto blasters. Sometimes compact is better, and Panasonic makes one of the best compact boomboxes. While small, this system is well designed and can match some of the sound quality of some of its larger counterparts.Modern boomboxes offer a wide range of ways to play music. While most will have a CD player, you’ll also find aux inputs so you can attach your smartphone or laptop. Many boomboxes offer Bluetooth connectivity that will make it even easier to connect your phone. The Boombox 2 is incredibly well constructed and is IPX7 waterproof up to 1 meter deep. While We wouldn’t suggest dropping this boombox in the lake, you should be safe if it gets wet or is out in the rain. All of the boomboxes in our guide can be plugged in or run on C or D sized batteries. This one has a rechargeable battery, which is a very nice touch. For outdoor use, I like the design of the Boombox 3 better than UE Hyperboom. The portable Bluetooth speaker is easier to carry around and just looks more like an outdoor speaker. It's also fully waterproof and dustproof with an IPX67 rating (the previous model was waterproof but didn't have a dustproof rating).
