Only with Jameson did Scarlett allow herself to simply feel. The need, the longing, the pain, the overwhelming ache of love in her heart—she surrendered to it all." with a World War II pilot, and the ending isn’t a happy one. Georgia knows all too well that love never works out, and while the chemistry and connection between her and Noah is undeniable, she’s as determined as ever to learn from her great-grandmother’s mistakes—even if it means destroying Noah’s career. Review i've never read a love story like this. it was so heartbreakingly beautiful, poetic, and i want more. scarlett and jameson, my loves <3 Because a very wise woman told me once that you can’t reason with the universe, no matter how sound your logic is. And that we can either breathe through the pain or we can let it shape us. So I’m sure that we’ll take it breath by breath until the ache lessens just a tiny bit.”

Synopsis: Told in alternating timelines, THE THINGS WE LEAVE UNFINISHEDexamines the risks we take for love, the scars too deep to heal, and the endings we can’t bring ourselves to see coming. Rebecca Yarros wrote an amazing enchanting story filled with love, heartbreak, tragedy, sadness and happiness. I will note that I was totally blindsided by a twist at the end, which made this even more intriguing. Very well done. The Things We Leave Unfinished is a captivating must read. Enter Noah Harrison, the bestselling and most charismatic romance author of his generation. When Georgia meets him, she is distraught - athough he's charming and handsome, there's nothing beneath the surface. But as they start working together, Georgia begins to see that there might be more to Noah than meets the eye.I can't recall the last time I wanted to DNF a book so late in the game, but I couldn't put it down because I was too freaking invested. There was a sad reality to the guilt, the regret, and the requirement to push through. I'm not sure I was willing or even ready to face the guaranteed heartbreak I was sure to receive. But I can't lie and say that the place that Rebecca came from, and the story that she gave me? That is why I read the heavy stuff. That is why I like the deep reads. The intricacies in the story, the love that is unwavering, the pain that is indiscriminate....it was all dished up with a healthy dose of reality. This book follows the journey of two broken souls, brought together by fate and haunted by their pasts. The characters were very beautifully crafted, with depth and authenticity. The chemistry between them is palpable, and their journey towards healing is both heart-wrenching and heartwarming. You have no idea how much I adore them. Scarlett and Constance are each other's shadow who were always there for each other to protect and to love. The things they both did to see the other happy especially the sacrifices Constance made for Scarlett 😭 there's nothing like this sister bond. Its beyond everything in this world. There aren’t enough stars in the universe for this heartfelt and soul-striking story. Prepare to be blown away by this tear-jerker of a tale told in passionate and poignant love letters. The Last Letter is THE best military romance and Rebecca Yarros’ best book yet!!! A heartbreakingly beautiful book that I will forever feel. I just want to read it and feel it again and again.

Perfect for fans of Colleen Hoover and Nicholas Sparks, The Things We Leave Unfinished is an epic and sweeping romance about the sacrifices we make for love and the endings we don't want to see coming...

Multibuys

This book revolved around two different love stories moving around two different timelines and honestly both of them were equally painful yet so damn beautiful. This book was fast paced and so filled with angst and pain. Rebecca's writing style is captivating, evoking a range of emotions throughout the story. The author's writing style is very engaging and easy to read. She expertly balanced the moments of heartache with glimpses of hope, drawing me in and keeping me engrossed until the very end.
