About this deal

The Vampire Court has no king, the Dragon Court has no heart, and the Gargoyle Court has me—a teenager in way over her head. And it’s the worst possible timing, because a threat is brewing just as the Circle is collapsing. I have no choice but to return to the Shadow Realm and face the terrifying queen who nearly ended us...and make a deal with her to save Mekhi. But this time, I’m bringing my powerful friends with me—and Hudson. Except something is wrong with him, too. He’s keeping a secret—even from me. When Malachi and Cherish have an unexpected visit from one of Malachi ‘s family, questions begin to form in Cherish’s mind. What secrets were Malachi keeping from her and why was he not wanting to introduce her to his family?

Wilma continues to find new friends and mend broken relationships as she maneuvers life after the death of her husband. One new friend seems a bit more friendlier than Wilma is comfortable with. All I know is that everyone’s life hangs in the balance. And it’s my fault—because I still owe the Crone a favor...and now she’s come to collect. Also, Cherish misses family terribly as she is used to a big family and everyone always around. But now with just the two of them there seems to be a lot of time with nothing much to do sooooooooooo, she starts making friends in the community. She finds out there is some cheap land for sale through the Bishop and immediately thinks of Favor and Simon.

Overall, this is yet another great read!!! I find myself marking my calendar in anticipation of the next book. If you haven’t started start with book one Amish Mercy. They are so good you will fly through them and enjoy every moment of it!!! It’s been over three months since my friends and I took down Cyrus. Three months where my biggest fear was what paper was due next... But I should have known it was too good to last. Now everything is falling apart. Meanwhile, Favor is still unhappy with her living situation and wants desperately for she and her husband to move. She is determined to get out of her in-laws house, rules and constant criticism.

Meanwhile, Favor and Simon are facing a choice. Do they stay living with Simon’s parents, or do they move and start a new life together? What can bring peace to this situation? Well, this causes a rift for Simon's family but Simon finally stands up and they actually get time to themselves without his parents. They love the land but will his mother make sure it doesn't happen or that they are part of it. We are left wanting more as this book ends with a pile of unanswered questions to be answered in other books as this series continues.
